Daniil Trifonov, XIVth annual Tchaikovsky Competition Gold Award winner, joins forces with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Orchestra for a thrilling recording of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No 1. 

Trifonov has had an astonshing year since winning the competition and has performed with many renowned orchestras such as the Mariinsky and the LSO. He is currently on tour with the Vienna Philharmonic.

Hotly tipped as the next big Russian star, Trifonov is certainly one to watch.

The recording will be on sale mid-late 2012.
